Description

Sum of Us is a choose-your-own-adventure style festival that offers workshops catered to wellness: creative, physical, and mental. Our festival takes place MAY 15th - 17th 2020 in Waterford, CA.

Sum of Us has carefully selected the top educators to lead daytime workshops ranging from yoga, body positivity, activism, fitness, artistic expression, and much more. We are fortunate to have accrued notable facilitators and artists who have amassed large fan bases. Some of our leading facilitators and artists are:

  • Katie Sowers - NFL Coach and First Woman to Coach in the Super Bowl

  • Kai Wes - TV Personality and Trans Activist

  • Mads Paige - Non-Binary Model and Musician

  • Allison Tibbs - Women's Health Magazine Action Hero and Healthy Lifestyle Coach

  • Jacq The Stripper - Sex Work Advocate, Illustrator, and Clothing Designer

  • SUMif - Music Artist

...and MUCH more!

We want to offer an environment where like-minded individuals can connect through wellness in all of its aspects.

Our idyllic venue creates a city escape, where we support local food trucks and vendors to serve at our festival. At our venue, festival-goers can take a break from workshops and enjoy paddleboarding and kayaking in the beautiful reservoir water, or save their energy for the night time musical performances and special events. We have partnered with SoundOff Experiences, where participants can dance, laugh, and part take in our unique silent disco.

The LGBTQ+ community was historically formed in secret, after-hours in bars and nightclubs, so it makes sense that we would still be meeting there. We want to give our community a chance to evolve by creating other safe space options. There are many individuals in our community who have interests outside of nightlife like being outdoors, being creative, spirituality, personal empowerment, and sexual exploration. We’ve reimagined a space where conscious community members can connect... but most importantly, learn about themselves together.
